Requesting Documents from Latvia
To request documents from abroad, a person shall fill in an application form addressed to the Embassy of Latvia in Lithuania and 3 copies of Form of Requesting Documents from Latvia in English, French, German, Latvian or Russian.
In the document requisition form only the column pertaining to the requested document shall be completed (e.g., certificate of birth, documents about education, work, etc.). Information shall be given accurately and in a legible handwriting.
Consular fee – 10 EUR.
State fee – have to be paid after the requested documents are received from archives, according to the bill from archives.

For documents about criminal record
other type of documents requisition Forms should be filled in (the Forms can be obtained at the Embassy).
Consular fee - 10 EUR
State fee - 5 EUR.
The document about criminal record is issued in Latvian. If a document is needed in English, additionally to filling the document requisition form, also a separate form should be filled in about requiring the document in English (can be obtained at the Embassy).
Additional state fee for requiring the document in foreign language – 5 EUR.
