Diplomatic and consular representations of other Schengen member states that issue visas for travelling to Latvia

! Please note that the diplomatic and consular missions representing Latvia in the issuance of visas accept visa applications only from the citizens of their state of residence and from those third-country citizens who are staying in this state with residence permit.

We suggest that foreigners, who seek to receive a visa for entering Latvia at the missions listed below, contact the chosen mission in advance and clarify the procedure of visa issuance and in particular which are the supporting documents to be attached to the visa application.

Applying for visa at the German, Hungarian, French, Slovenian or Dutch diplomatic or consular representation issuing uniform or Schengen visas in the name of Latvia, a foreigner should be aware of the following:

a translation in English or in the language of the relevant representation shall be attached to the documents produced in Latvian
an invitation approved by the Office of Migration of Citizenship Affairs should be submitted in paper-form. The inviting party will be provided with an invitation in paper-form if he/she will indicate a representation of Germany, Hungary, France, Slovenia or the Netherlands issuing visas in the name of Latvia, as a place where the visa will be applied for. After the receipt of the invitation it shall be forwarded to the visa applicant.

[3] Visa applications may be lodged at the Consulate General of Hungary in Yekaterinburg only by persons who are residing in the consular district of this Consulate General: Sverdlovsk County, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Tyumen County, Kurgan County, Chelyabinsk County, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Republic of Bashkortostan, Perm Kray, Aga Buryat Autonomous Okrug, Altay Kray, Irkutsk County, Kemerovo County, Krasnoyarsk Kray, Novosibirsk County, Omsk County, Republic of Altay, Republic of Buryatiya, Republic of Tuva, Republic of Khakasiya, Tomsk County, Ust-Orda Buryat Autonomous Okrug and Chita County.

[4] Visa applications may be lodged at the Consulate General of Germany in Dubai only by persons who are residing in the consular district of this Consulate General: Dubai, Ajman, Furjairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah, Umm al-Quwain (except Abu Dhabi).

[5] Visa applications may be lodged at the Embassy of Germany in Abu Dhabi only by persons who are residing in the consular district of this Embassy: Abu Dhabi.
