For information on entry into Latvia by citizens of third countries who are family members of citizens of member states of the European Union, countries of the European Economic Zone, or of the Swiss Confederation, please see the section entitled "Entry into to Latvia by Citizens and their Family Members of Member States of the European Union, Countries of the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation". Persons who utilise as a travel document:
may enter Latvia without a visa and stay for a period of up to 90 days in a half-year, counting from the first date of entry.
Countries whose holders of diplomatic passports may enter member states of the European Union (excepting Denmark, Ireland, and the United Kingdom*) without a visa, and stay in their territory for a period of up to 90 days in a 180-day period, counting from the first date of entry

Countries whose holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports may enter Latvia without a visa, and stay in its territory for a period of up to 90 days in a half-year, counting from the first date of entry, in accordance with bilateral treaties between Latvia and said third countries
