Persons who utilise as a travel document:

  • a United Nations passport;
  • a European Commission passport;
  • a Vatican passport

may enter Latvia without a visa and stay for a period of up to 90 days in a half-year, counting from the first date of entry.

 

Countries whose holders of diplomatic passports may enter member states of the European Union (excepting Denmark, Ireland, and the United Kingdom*) without a visa, and stay in their territory for a period of up to 90 days in a 180-day period, counting from the first date of entry

  • Albania
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Georgia
  • the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia
  • Montenegro
  • Moldova
  • Russia
  • Serbia
  • Ukraine

Countries whose holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports may enter Latvia without a visa, and stay in its territory for a period of up to 90 days in a half-year, counting from the first date of entry, in accordance with bilateral treaties between Latvia and said third countries

  • Armenia (holders of diplomatic and service passports)
  • Turkey (holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports)
  • Peru (holders of diplomatic and service passports)
  • Ukraine (holders of service passports)
  • Georgia (holders of service passports)
