Today the Latvian government reviewed the report on the activities of the Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in International Human Rights Institutions for 2007.

Foreign Minister: Latvia should refer Kononov v. Latvia case to Grand Chamber of European Court of Human Rights [25 Jul 2008]
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has examined the judgment delivered by the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) on 24 July in the case of Kononov v. Latvia, and will propose that the Government should decide on referring the case to the Grand Chamber of the ECHR.
