Energy
Meetings take place mainly within the framework of other events, for example, meetings of sectoral ministers and BASREC meetings, as well as before or after high-level meetings on energy in Brussels.
Domestic Policy
On 8 February 2007, a meeting of the Ministers of Interior of the Baltic states took place in Riga. On 21 May, senior officials met in Riga. In addition, three meetings (one in each state) within the framework of the Schengen Task Force are scheduled this year, as well as mutual consultations are held prior to the meetings of the EU Council of Ministers of Justice and Home Affairs.
Defence
Meetings of the Ministers of Defence of the Baltic states took place on 11-12 January 2007 in Lithuania and on 13-14 September 2007 in Estonia. On 5 March, the State Secretaries of the Ministries of Defence met in Riga.
Environment
On 7-8 June 2007, a meeting of the Ministers of Environment of the Baltic states took place in Marciena. Senior officials meeting took place on 17 May. Second meeting is scheduled for the beginning of November.
Transport and Communications
On 2-3 September 2007, a meeting of the Ministers of Transport of the Baltic states took place in Tallinn.
