Foreign Minister Aivis Ronis and upcoming Estonian Ambassador to Latvia, Mati Vaarmann, note positive development of bilateral relations [06 Sep 2010]

On 6 September, Foreign Minister Aivis Ronis met with the upcoming Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to Latvia, Mati Vaarmann, as part of the Ambassador's accreditation visits.

During the meeting, the parties noted the excellent bilateral co-operation between both countries and talked about matters on the current agenda. Foreign Minister Aivis Ronis highlighted a close integration between Latvia and Estonia in the field of politics, economy and culture. The minister accentuated close ties among the people of the two countries that are a mainstay of the Latvian-Estonian friendly relations.
