Foreign ministry Secretary of State meets with Honorary Consuls of foreign countries in Latvia [05 Feb 2010]

On 5 February, Foreign Ministry Secretary of State met with Honorary Consuls of foreign countries in Latvia. During the meeting the parties discussed further co-operation between the Foreign Ministry and the Honorary Consuls in the field economy and culture. The parties emphasised that co-operation to date between the Foreign Ministry and the Honorary Consuls should be further activated in order to forge stronger links with the countries which the consuls represented. Currently in Latvia there are 20 Honorary Consuls of foreign countries.
