In connection with Europe Day, the Foreign Ministry has prepared an electronic guide Darba iespejas Eiropas Savienibas institucijas (Job Opportunities in EU Institutions) to provide information to the public on work and career opportunities in EU institutions and also to encourage Latvian people to apply for the positions advertised.
The guide provides answers to the most frequently asked questions, informs about application and selection procedures, and also lists sources for further information.
The guide was prepared using materials from EU legislation, laws and regulations of Latvia, as well as the experience of other EU member states and Foreign Ministry staff.
The electronic guide (in Latvian) is published on the Foreign Ministry web site at http://www.mfa.gov.lv/lv/eu/darbs/celvedis.
