On 16 June 2004, a new project - website Latvian Jewish Community was launched, aimed at informing and educating the public. The project was implemented with the support of Latvia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Latvian Jewish Community, and the Democracy Commission of the US Embassy. The website offers information on the Latvian Jewish Community, its history, tragedy and life today in Latvian and in English (address: http://www.ebreji.lv and http://www.jews.lv). The website consists of 5 sections: "News", "Research", "Education", "Memory", and "Cities". In the near future, new information will be added about the Latvian cities and towns that have not yet been exposed, as well as video and photo galleries, updates on processes and events in Latvian regions, as well as current information regarding the implementation of the Government action plan on the holocaust research and remembrance.

The project was implemented with the assistance of the Bauska Museum of Art and Local Studies and Head of its History Department, Aigars Urtans; Executive Director of the Jewish Community of Riga, Gita Ulmanovska; the museum Jews in Latvia; the Centre for Judaic Studies at the University of Latvia; historian Leo Dribins; Director of Liepaja Museum of History and Art, Aina Burija; Daugavpils University professor Iosif Steimann, and other supporters.

Educating the public on issues of the Holocaust, research and evaluation of history, safeguarding and perpetuation of memory are the issues that Latvia has addressed seriously over the past years through implementing a number of projects.
