On 16 June 2004, an exhibition of the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia was opened in the Landtag of Bavaria (Maximilianeum) in Munich, Latvija atgriežas Eiropā (Latvia Returns to Europe). It was opened by Vice-President of the Landtag of Bavaria Peter Paul Gantzer, Latvian Ambassador to Germany Martins Virsis, and Latvia's former Minister of Defence Girts Valdis Kristovskis. Landtag members and other visitors - altogether about 150 people - participated in the opening. The exhibition will be open for visitors until July 2. | |||||
