Second Meeting of the EU-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Council

The Stabilisation and Association (SA) Council between Serbia and the European Union held its second meeting on 17 December 2014. The meeting was chaired by Jadranka Joksimović, Serbia’s Minister without portfolio for EU Integration of Serbia. The EU Delegation was led by Edgars Rinkēvičs, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, and included Johannes Hahn, the EU’s Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations.

Edgars Rinkēvičs Presents Latvia’s EU Presidency and Expresses his Gratitude to Italy for its Accomplishments

At the 16 December meeting of the EU’s General Affairs Council (GAC), Ministers considered the conclusions of the 18-19 December European Council, highlighting the issues that will be salient during Latvia’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs presented Latvia’s proposals for priorities to be pursued during its Presidency and its ideas for advancing the digital agenda.
