Development Cooperation Policy Programme of the Republic of Latvia 2006 - 2010
The Development Cooperation Policy Programme of the Republic of Latvia 2006-2010 (Programme) has been prepared taking into account Latvia's growing role in the resolution of global problems and in accordance with the foreign policy guidelines of the Republic of Latvia as of the year 2005 forward and "The Basic Principles for the Development Cooperation Policy of the Republic of Latvia".
The aim of this Programme is to strengthen Latvia's international role as a new donor country, ensuring wide involvement by governmental institutions and the public in defining policy priorities and implementing set targets.

The Regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers, No.77 "On the Conception for Increasing of the State Budget Financing for Implementation of the Development Cooperation Policy of the Republic of Latvia 2006 – 2010"
Conception for Increasing State Budget Financing for Implementation of the Development Cooperation Policy of the Republic of Latvia 2006-2010 (Conception) has been prepared having regard to Latvia's obligations as a member state of the European Union (EU) and in accordance with the Basic Principles of Development Cooperation Policy of the Republic of Latvia. The timeframe for implementation of the Conception coincides with that of the Development Cooperation Policy Programme of the Republic of Latvia 2006-2010 and the Conception accords with the targets and directions for action defined by the Programme.

Development Cooperations Policy Plan for 2008
Development Cooperation Policy Plan for 2008 identifies as a priority the implementation of bilateral and trilateral cooperation projects, and implementation of public information activities on the goals, priorities and Latvia's activities in development cooperation policy, in order to foster civic awareness amongst the population and support for the successful development and implementation of development cooperation policy.
